Beautiful vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vase featuring multicolor floral decoration on a glossy black ground.
The vase measures approximately 9 inches tall and 4 inches at its widest point. It has hand-worked floral and leaf designs in shades of green, yellow, white, pink and lavender, outlined with fine metal wire characteristic of cloisonné work.
The underside is impressed “CHINA.” The exposed metal base, rim and interior show natural age-related patina and oxidation.
This appears to be an older Chinese export cloisonné piece, likely dating to the early 20th century, although the exact age and maker are unknown.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. There is normal surface wear and patina consistent with age.
