Vintage carved wood horse box on wheels, a wood figurine with a lidded body that separates at the saddle line. The dark brown horse has a long arched neck, a brass stud eye, a row of brass domed studs and nail-head spikes along the mane, and four round wheels with embossed brass medallions. The textured carved surface shows traces of pale paint in a rustic folk art manner.
Unmarked; exact maker, country and age are unknown. Appears to be a vintage folk art style piece, likely mid century.
Good vintage condition with patina and finish wear consistent with age. Please review photos closely.
