Add romantic Italian floral artistry to your collection with this vintage Capodimonte porcelain flower arrangement, featuring an elaborate hand-formed bouquet of pink roses, trumpet-shaped blossoms, delicate yellow and pink flowers, and layers of richly modeled green leaves arranged in a softly mottled pink porcelain planter. Each flower is individually sculpted with thin petals and naturalistic details, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship associated with traditional Italian Capodimonte-style decorative porcelain. The applied porcelain plaque is marked Capodimonte, Made in Italy with the crowned “N” emblem and appears to bear an artist or decorator signature. Based on the style and mark, this decorative floral centerpiece dates approximately to the late 20th century, circa 1970s-1980s, and was made in Italy. A beautiful accent for collectors of Capodimonte porcelain, Italian ceramics, porcelain flowers, botanical sculptures, and vintage cottage or traditional decor. Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use; delicate porcelain flowers should be handled carefully.
One of the flowers on the backside has been repaired and is noted in the pictures.
