Believed to be a Cairns Model 900 Clifton based on its profile and construction, but no model marking was found to confirm the exact model.
The helmet is in heavily used, as-found condition with scratches, scuffs, dirt, discoloration, worn edge trim, and age-related deterioration. The front shield is missing, and the metal shield holder is bent and damaged. Reflective panels and tape appear to have been added during its service life. The interior suspension and cushioning remain installed but show considerable wear and staining.
The Cairns & Brother “Cairns Flex” label and Cairns Sanitary Cushion lining tag are still present. No clearly visible model number or exact manufacturing date was found; identification as a Model 900 Clifton is based on the helmet’s construction and profile.
