Vintage Aachen Cathedral Dom Germany Scrapbook Page 5 B&W Photos Postcard
Black scrapbook page shows light edge wear, binder holes, and faint surface creases. Photographs and postcard are lightly aged with minor corner wear; images clean and intact.
Vintage black paper scrapbook page featuring five black and white gelatin-silver photographs of Aachen Cathedral (Aachener Dom) in Germany.
Front side has four exterior architectural views showing the Gothic choir, octagonal Palatine Chapel dome, tower, stone walls, and surrounding streets and buildings.
Reverse side holds one interior real photo postcard of a mosaic and columns inside the octagon, mounted above detailed white-ink architectural sketches and notes.
Handwritten German annotations reference Karl d. Gr. 742–814, the 1165 Heiligsprechung veranlasst durch Friedrich I, the Pfalzkappelle, Chorhalle, Karlsstuhl, Marienaltar, Petrusaltar, and the grave of Otto III circa 980–1002.
Medium and material: black album sheet with mounted paper photographs and postcard; monochrome black and white religious and architectural imagery suited for travel, history, and famous places collections.
Special notes: page was removed from a larger vintage scrapbook, is hole-punched for binding, and retains its original ink drawings of the cathedral plan and choir hall elevation.
