Colorful vintage Porsgrund porcelain collection from the official dinnerware designed by Grete Rønning for the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Made in Norway, the design features blue, green, and pink winter sports figures inspired by ancient Norwegian rock carvings. The mugs have pedestal bases and Olympic logos inside, while coordinating dessert plates and a large serving plate complete the collection. A distinctive set for serving coffee and dessert or displaying with an Olympic memorabilia collection.
Includes 8 mugs, 7 dessert plates, and 1 serving plate, for a total of 16 pieces. The serving plate carries information about the collection and its designers on the back.
Condition: Some mugs have minor paint loss along the blue band at the foot, consistent with age and use. Close-up photos show representative examples of this wear. The collection presents beautifully overall.
