Beautiful vintage “Map of the Sandwich Isles” by artist/cartographer Blaise Domino, depicting the Hawaiian Islands in a detailed, antique-map style.
The map features the Hawaiian Islands with decorative illustrations, ships, compass artwork, historical references, and a small inset world map. The artwork has an attractive vintage nautical/cartographic appearance that would make a great addition to a Hawaii, travel, history, nautical, or map collection.
Original Cartographer’s Notes Included
The back of the frame retains the “Cartographer’s Notes – Map of the Sandwich Isles” information sheet. The notes identify Blaise Domino as the artist/cartographer and explain the historical inspiration and design elements incorporated into the map.
