Martinka Template Vintage 1969 German “Magic Box” Pocket Magic Set – Manfred Maluche Verlag
An unusual and scarce German pocket magic set from 1969, published by Manfred Maluche Verlag, Munich, Germany.
The set contains 20 easy magic tricks arranged in a fitted red-flocked tray inside a white molded plastic carrying case embossed “Zauberbox.” It includes the original illustrated instruction booklet, which is marked:

The compact set includes a colorful assortment of miniature apparatus for performing a variety of close-up and pocket tricks with instructions. The fitted case measures approximately 7 × 4 × 1 inches.
This example includes the original carrying case, fitted contents, and instruction booklet. The outer cardboard box is not present.
Very little information about this set survives today. Only a small number of examples appear to have surfaced, making it an interesting piece for collectors of vintage magic sets, German magic apparatus, and conjuring history.
A particularly charming late-1960s magic set with excellent period design and presentation.
Condition
Very good. Contents appears complete. Booklet is excellent.
Though unconfirmed, someone from Germany once told me only a small number of these were made and then given away.
