This is an incredibly rare variant pinpointed directly to the very first production runs of 1964–1965.Key Identification Features:• Left Tang Markings: Deeply stamped "15OT PAT. PEND."• Right Tang Markings: Crisply stamped "SCHRADE-WALDEN N.Y. U.S.A."• Construction: Heavy-duty, full-tang 1095 flat-ground carbon steel blade (~3/16" thick) with ribbed spine thumb jimping, original nickel-silver "Old Timer" crest shield, and sawcut brown Delrin handle scales secured by three nickel-silver flat head pins.Condition:Honest vintage condition showing authentic character. The blade displays an attractive natural carbon patina with age-appropriate sharpening wear and minor oxidation spotting. Delrin handle scales remain fully intact and tight to the tang with no cracks or chips.
