Vintage 1963 John F. Kennedy Assassination & Funeral Newspaper Bundle
Up for sale is a historic two-issue bundle of the New York Daily News from November 1963, capturing the immediate heartbreak and aftermath of the JFK assassination. These are authentic, original vintage printings from 1963, perfect for history buffs and memorabilia collectors.
What is Included:
• November 23, 1963 Issue: The historic "day-after" edition featuring the iconic front-page headline "PRESIDENT KILLED" and the photo of LBJ taking the oath of office on Air Force One.
• November 26, 1963 Issue: The funeral coverage edition featuring the emotional front-page headline "WE CARRY ON" alongside the famous photo of JFK Jr. saluting his father's casket.
Condition Details:
• Overall Condition: Vintage Fair Condition.
• Wear: Both newspapers show natural, uniform edge-browning and tanning typical of 60+ year old newsprint. There is some edge chipping and fragility as expected with age. There are some small tears which I tried to picture. Please look at all the pictures in case I miss something.
• Completeness: These are the COMPLETE full multi-page newspapers.
Shipping & Handling:
Due to the fragile nature of vintage newsprint, these will be packed with extreme care. They will be shipped flat, sandwiched securely between thick sheets of rigid cardboard to prevent bending, folding, or flaking during transit.
