Up for sale is an authentic, original US Military cold-weather field cap model M-1951 (Cap, Field, Cotton, M-1951) produced under official Quartermaster contract during the early Cold War era.
This model features fold-down ear and neck flaps lined with 80% wool / 20% cotton flannel for cold-weather protection. The flaps fold neatly inside the crown for standard wear. Designed to be worn on its own or comfortably underneath an M1 steel helmet liner.

Great vintage collectible condition for a piece that is nearly 70 years old. The cotton poplin shell is sturdy, stitching is tight, and there are no tears, holes, or moth damage to the wool flannel lining. The inner white contract stamp is exceptionally clean, complete, and easy to read.
