This extraordinary vintage trophy commemorates the 2nd Place finish of the Seventh Army Troops Volleyball Team in Germany, 1956. Featuring a Florn clock mechanism integrated into the trophy base, it is as functional as it is historically significant — a true conversation piece. This trophy is in good condition with some surface wear. Not sure how the clock works, but I did turn the top dial in the back and the clock ticks. The bottom dial does turn the clock\'s hands. The volleyball player sounds hollow and stands roughly 3 7/8\" tall. The base is 6 7/8\" long by 2\" wide and 7/8\" thick. The entire trophy weighs 1 pound 14.6 ounces. I do not know the type of metal it is made from. Please see all pictures.
