Vintage January 20, 1953 edition of The Denver Post featuring the historic inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This complete 'Home Edition' newspaper captures a pivotal moment in American history with the headline 'Eisenhower Takes Oath.' Beyond the political coverage, this issue serves as a fascinating time capsule of the early 1950s, filled with period-accurate advertisements for Ford and Dodge V-Eight automobiles, mid-century fashion from The Denver Dry Goods Co. and Neusteters, and classic household appliances. A remarkable piece of ephemera for collectors of presidential history or Colorado regional memorabilia.
