When plugged in I heard the dial tone sound. However when I tried to call my cell phone with it it gave me an error message. When I called the landline from my cell phone, the rotary phone didn't ring but I was able to pick it up and the call went through and I was able to talk to my cell phone. It does work but as for the ringer from what I saw online it may need an adapter for it to ring, however I'm not 100% sure.Comes with 2 cloth cords (one coiled) and 4 prong jack and adapter for todays use. Has original porcelain dial card.In original condition, has not been cleaned or altered.Missing a screw on the bottom.
Condition:
- Hairlines on handset caps and yellowing.
- Fine scratch on top of handset and a tiny black speck left of handset.
- Rotary dial works perfectly.
- .75 inch crack in back of base on right hand side.
