Up for sale is a beautiful and rare vintage Evans cylindrical diorama table lighter from the 1950s. This collectible piece features a highly detailed, miniature Canada Goose figurine completely encased inside a clear display capsule. This specific style of luxury tobacciana was highly popular during the mid-century era and was famously retailed by high-end outdoor sporting stores like.
The lighter is beautifully constructed with a warm, finished wood top and base capsule, which is crowned by a classic brass Evans lighter insert. It makes an incredible accent piece for a hunting lodge, executive desk, home library, or mid-century bar setup.
This item is in excellent vintage condition and is fully working. The striking mechanism moves smoothly and produces a strong, consistent spark. It will simply need your own lighter fluid to stay lit, as it will be shipped completely empty to comply with postal safety regulations.
Cosmetically, the clear cylinder remains bright with excellent transparency and only very minimal surface wear from age. The wood retains a lovely, rich sheen, and the brass insert shows a gentle, authentic vintage patina. There are no major chips, cracks, or deep scratches anywhere on the piece. Please review all the photos carefully to see the exact condition.
