## Description
Up for sale is a fascinating piece of Western New York advertising history: an authentic, vintage **store promotional check coupon** from the historic **A. Victor & Co.** department store, located at Genesee and Pearl Streets in **Buffalo, New York**.
Dated **March 7, 1950**, this promotional ephemera piece is beautifully styled to resemble a bank check for **$25.00** made out to "Bearer." It served as a credit voucher towards the purchase of living room, dining room, or bedroom furniture suites during a special "9 Day Sale" running from March 9th through March 18th.
The left side features a highly detailed, crisp architectural illustration of the multi-story **Victor's building** in downtown Buffalo, complete with the vertical "VICTORS" signage. The bottom right bears the printed signature of **Arthur Victor Jr.** as President. The check is explicitly marked "NOT BANKABLE" along the top border.
