Vintage Air King Model 4607 tabletop AM tube radio dating to approximately 1946.
Features a classic ivory molded cabinet with strong Art Deco styling, decorative metal speaker grille, vertical tuning window, and dual front controls. The cabinet is best described as Plaskon / molded plastic from the Bakelite era, rather than confirmed solid Bakelite.
The internal chassis is hand-marked “MODEL 4607.”
Testing:
The radio was plugged in and tested. It powers on and produces static through the speaker. Controls respond, but no stations were received during testing. No additional servicing or electrical testing has been performed.
Because of its age and limited functionality, it is being sold for restoration, parts, collection, or Air King
