Vintage Golden Harvest Union Cranberry Co. wooden cranberry shipping box/crate from Warrens, Wisconsin, dating approximately to the 1930s–1940s.
This early produce shipping box features the original faded Golden Harvest shield advertising on one end with:

Union Cranberry Company was part of the historic cranberry-growing industry centered around Warrens, Wisconsin. This style of wooden shipping box was used to pack and transport fresh cranberries before wooden containers were largely replaced by newer packaging.
The box retains its original hinged wooden lid, brass-colored hinges, nailed wood construction, ventilation slots, bottom runners and original advertising graphics. Great primitive appearance with lots of authentic age and character.
Measures approximately 17” long x 12” wide x 10” tall. Please see measurement photos for exact dimensions.
Condition: Original unrestored vintage condition with considerable wear from age and commercial use. The wood has scratches, staining, discoloration, cracks, splits, edge losses and areas of roughness. The lid is warped and does not sit completely flat. Advertising is faded but remains identifiable. Hardware shows age and wear. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the condition description.
No restoration or refinishing has been performed. Sold as found.
A scarce piece of Wisconsin cranberry, agricultural and food advertising history. Excellent display piece for collectors of antique advertising, Wisconsin memorabilia, primitive wooden boxes, fruit and produce crates, general store displays or cranberry industry collectibles.
