Title: Vintage Style 1920s Brittany Neophone Replica Desk Telephone – Black & Antique Brass
Item Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful, heavy-duty Vintage-Style 1920s/1930s Replica Desk Telephone. This corded landline phone perfectly captures the timeless glamour of early European streamline phones, combining classic antique aesthetics with modern push-button convenience.
It features an ornate, highly detailed antique brass-finished cradle and accents paired with a textured black base. The classic horizontal handset has a heavy, satisfying feel in the hand. This phone makes an incredible statement piece for a home office, study, bookshelf, or entry console, and serves as an excellent high-quality prop for photography, theater, or vintage staging.
Key Features:
• Modern Push-Button Keypad: Expertly disguised inside a classic rotary-style ring. Features a standard central "Redial" button so you don’t actually have to spin a dial.
• Sturdy Construction: Bottom-heavy design with a weighted base to ensure stability when lifting the receiver.
• Connectivity: Features a standard RJ-11 "Line" input jack and a hardwired coiled handset cord on the bottom of the base.
Condition Details:
• Cosmetic Condition: Good pre-owned condition with light scuffs and minor natural patina on the metal elements, which perfectly enhances its antique look.
• Underneath: The bottom felt pads are completely intact to protect your furniture. The manufacturing sticker on the bottom has some minor paper peel (visible in photos), which is purely cosmetic and unseen when displayed.
• Functionality Note: The mechanical and structural components are in great shape. Line testing on modern digital, fiber-optic, or VoIP lines has not been performed; an analog line or a digital-to-analog converter may be required if you intend to use this for daily dial-out capabilities. Sold as-is as a gorgeous decorative/collectible item.
Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description. The item will be packaged with extreme care—handset and brass cradle individually padded—to ensure safe transit to your doorstep.
