Up for sale is a vintage 1920s–1930s Porcelain Half Doll (Pincushion Doll) marked MADE IN JAPAN. Popular during the early 20th century, these half-torso china figures were attached to fabric pincushions, whisk brooms, or vanity box covers.
She features a molded 18th-century style powdered grey hairstyle, hand-painted facial features with red lips, a soft pink/lavender bodice with white ruffles, a yellow flower corsage at her chest, and her right hand delicately resting against her face. The base features 4 original waist holes for sewing onto a pincushion base.

Porcelain & Glaze: Overall good vintage condition. Glaze is glossy and intact.
Paint: Hand-painted details remain bright. Minor light age wear/imperfections on the facial paint typical of vintage Japanese exports.
