This souvenir paperweight shows the classic Ferris Wheel photograph from the 1893 World's Fair.
The original Ferris Wheel, sometimes also referred to as the Chicago Wheel, was designed and built by George Washington Gale Ferris Jr. as the centerpiece of the Midway at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Since its construction, many other Ferris wheels have been constructed that were patterned after it. (Wikipedia)
The paperweight shows the wear and tear expected for a collectible of this vintage. The paper backing has been removed and the reverse of the image is oddly discolored. The circular image shows several tiny holes (visible in our close up, backlit photo) and is also a bit "nibbled" on the edges. Otherwise the image is bright, crisp, and clear.
Overall, not a bad example of this collectible Ferris Wheel souvenir.
