Up for sale is a fantastic, instant collection of four (4) vintage pocket lighters spanning the late 1950s through the 1970s. This lot features excellent variety, including a genuine vintage mid-century Zippo, collectible petroliana advertising, classic butane gear, and a great piece of regional agricultural history.
What’s Included in the Lot:
1. 1958 Authentic Vintage Zippo (Plain Brushed Chrome)
• Brand/Origin: Genuine Zippo (Bradford, PA)
• Details: The clear highlight of the lot. This is an authentic late-1950s Zippo featuring the correct 1958 "8-Dot" date code (•••• Zippo ••••) and Pat. 2517191 bottom stamp.
• Condition: Classic unpolished brushed chrome finish with honest pocket wear, superficial surface scratching, and minor edge dings. Perfect for the vintage Zippo purist.
2. Vintage Phillips 66 / Joe Baldwin Oil Co. Lighter (Calkor Korea)
• Brand/Origin: Calkor (Stamped "Calkor / Korea" on the bottom)
• Details: Features the iconic vintage Phillips 66 shield logo and local advertising script for the Joe Baldwin Oil Co. out of Anthony, Kansas. Highly collectible piece of "petroliana" Americana.
• Condition: Etched graphics are sharp and clear. The red enamel paint inlay in the script has partially faded/worn away over time. Shows light surface scratches and typical pocket wear.
3. Vintage Ronson Varaflame Windlite (Butane - With Original Case)
• Brand/Origin: Ronson
• Details: A classic mid-century Ronson Varaflame butane pocket lighter. This piece comes complete in its original hard plastic "Butane Windlite" display presentation case.
• Condition: Lighter shows light cosmetic wear. The clear plastic case lid has a few minor scuffs, but the black base is intact and the case opens and closes cleanly. (Note: Butane seals are untested for gas leaks).
4. Vintage Co-Op State Line Grain Co. Promotional Lighter
• Brand/Origin: Unbranded / Generic Zippo-Style Clone
• Details: Features a completely smooth, blank bottom plate. Displays a vibrant, colorful vintage Co-Op logo advertising the State Line Grain Company out of Manchester, Oklahoma. Great piece of regional farming history.
• Condition: Graphic is bright and clear with some authentic surface wear, tarnish, and minor pitting consistent with use by an Oklahoma farmer.
