This vintage Revere Ware copper clad coffee pot percolator is a charming and functional addition to any collection of MCM small kitchen appliances. This 6 cup pot uses ground coffee and a gas or electric stove top to create a delicious brew of perked coffee. Made of durable stainless steel with the iconic copper clad bottom, this original piece is easy to clean and maintain, although I will leave it to the buyer to polish up the copper. The basket, lid, and stem are all original and included. The Pyrex glass knob may be a replacement, albeit an older one.
Condition is very good to excellent except that the trademark on the bottom is practically worn away, consistent with many years of faithful service! I remember enjoying the best cups of coffee from this pot at Mom’s house! My parents were married in 1951 so I am relatively sure this pot is from the 1946–1968 (Golden Era). Another indication of age is the placement of screws on the far ends of the handle bracket . This era is known for much thicker, higher-quality copper and stainless steel cladding. Thanks for looking!
