Captain Dan Park served in the Army in Korea and Hawaii after his time at Langley HS and West Point. Here are his bdu jackets during the early part of his career near the border with North Korea at Fort Humphrey. He was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain there, as the camouflage gear shows. A stint at Harvard would follow. On the bdus are the 2nd Infantry patch, Ranger tab, Airborne jump wings, Air Assault badge, and Army Corps of Engineers castle on the collar. First Lieutenant bar and Captains bars are on the collars. A direct issue laundry marker is still on the Lt. jacket. Orange inventory tracking labels are on the bdus too. The Captain jacket is a large regular and measures 25 inches from pit to pit, and 31 inches from the back collar to the bottom of the bdu. The lieutenant one is a medium short and measures 24 inches from pit to pit and 29 inches from the back collar to the bottom of the uniform. Check the pictures before you buy these well preserved jackets.
