VTG Neanderthal Skull Model Life Size Museum Quality Fossil Cast Skullduggery
Life-size, museum-quality replica of a Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthal) skull with full articulated mandible and complete dentition. The warm, hand-painted fossil-tone finish and finely detailed teeth are consistent with the professional hominid casts produced by Skullduggery (sculpted by Steve Pinney) or Bone Clones — the same makers supplying universities and museum teaching collections. This is a serious osteological reproduction, not a Halloween prop — though come October, nothing on your shelf will start more conversations.
I'm doing my best to identify these skulls accurately, but I'm not an expert — please study the photos and judge for yourself.
- Species: Homo neanderthalensis — humanity's closest extinct relative
- Life-size skull with separate lower jaw, highly detailed teeth and bone texture
- Classic Neanderthal features beautifully rendered: heavy brow ridge, projecting midface, receding chin
- Cast resin, hand-finished in realistic aged-bone tones
- Perfect for anthropology students, teachers, fossil collectors, oddities/curiosities decor, or seriously elevated Halloween display
Authentic museum-grade educational reproduction — the type used in classrooms and collections worldwide.
From a smoke-free, pet-free home.

I have over twenty years of well-honed packaging skills—breakage is rare, but sometimes things happen during transport. I have no control over what happens once it leaves my hands.
I have over 15,000 positive responses. This means I'm an amazing seller. Still, sometimes I make mistakes. If anything should happen, rest assured that I will work with you to make it right. Please come to me before you leave response or seek other solutions. I can help. I treasure my good response and my customers. I will do anything to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Please note: these have been on display and show light surface dust. I've left them as-is rather than risk scrubbing the hand-applied finishes — a gentle pass with a soft dry brush will freshen them right up if you wish.
