Authentic vintage galvanized-steel milk or cream can embossed “SINTON,” attributed to the historic Sinton Dairy of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Founded in 1880, Sinton Dairy became one of the best-known dairies in the Colorado Springs region. Based on its heavy galvanized construction, rolled and soldered seams, tapered shoulder, and fitted lid with retaining chain, this can is believed to date from approximately the 1930s–1940s.
Great decoration for an air b&b with a farmhouse setting!
