Youare looking at an original 1990s Adidas Tubular air pump with
digitalpressure readout which was originally supplied with the iconicTubular range
oftrainers/sneakers during the early 1990’s.
Trainer/sneakerfans will already be aware of the legendary status of the originalAdidas Tubular trainers and many will be in possession of thesewithout the original pump. Here then is a chance to complete and addvalue to a pair of vintage Tubulars!
Althoughmainly a collector\'s item for trainer/sneaker fans, this could beused as a football pump suitable only for topping-up the pressure ofalready-inflated balls (PLEASE NOTE It is a very small capacity pumpso not suitable for full inflation of a football)
TheV392 watch batteries which supply the pressure gauge in this item aredefunct due to the age of the stock but we have left them inplace to preserve the originality of the item. If you fit areplacement battery (not supplied), the pressure gauge will workperfectly (see picture).
Pleasenote, the \'needle\' is stored inside the pump and is accessed byunscrewing the end of the pump and reversing it. The pressure gaugewill only show a reading when it experiences a \'back-pressure\' fromthe sneaker sole or ball. To test the screen is working, place afinger over the pump outlet and pump the handle vigorously - thedisplay should then give a readout.
