ITEM: You are looking at a rare vintage original 1957 calendar titled "Formal Date" advertising the American Box Corporation of San Francisco with illustration by long time Coca Cola artist Haddon Sundblom. Sundblom drew his iconic Santa Claus illustrations for the Coca-Cola Company for 33 years, from 1931 to 1964. Further, Sundblom was the master illustrator and mentor who heavily shaped the career and artistic style of renowned pinup artist Gil Elvgren.
This would make a perfect gift for you or a friend and would make a great addition to any pinup or Sundblom collection. These vintage pinups always attract attention. Will be shipped rolled in a tube.
MEASURES: Approximately 22" x 46"
CONDITION: Vintage, over all in very good condition, retains the lone December month on the date pad, and has both metal tin strips on top and bottom along with hanging metal loop on top.
