This (3 pc) set was brought back from SWEDEN in 1964. The BOX was used in our kitchen to hold matches. The oval shaped body of the box is made of a single sheet of hammered copper which is attached to a thick tin or stainless steel bottom. A double brass hinge with copper nail heads holds the lid in place for a perfect fit and easy open and close movement. There is a matching hinged C-shaped handle on top. Approx. Measures: 4.5”L x 3”W x 2”D. In Excellent Vintage Condition. The SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS do have punched Maker’s Marks but I am unable to read them for identification. The cylinder shaped shakers have a solid vessel body and perforated shaker holes which are not clogged or obstructed on top.The brass fittings consist of the base/foot, the side handles and the label plates which are fastened by copper nailheads. The plastic stoppers are intact and in very good operating condition. The salt shaker has some signs of oxidation from use which can be seen in the photos. Approx. Measures: 2.75”H x 1.75”D. I have not cleaned any of these items other than with a soft clothe. In Very Good Vintage Pre-Owned Condition. No dents, rust or scratches. Smoke and odor free. *Due to the nature of various materials, reflections and variations in lighting, the colors may not show as completely true in the photographs. Please review all pictures as they are part of the description. Ask any questions you have as our items are sold in AS IS condition. If you have any questions or need more pictures please ask.
