Own the Legend : This premium mahogany display model of a Grumman F14 Tomcat featuring the iconic VF-84 Jolly Rogers livery offers unmatched display presence with a
18 inch swing wing wingspan and handcrafted detail. Deployed in the Mediterranean Sea and flown under the Jolly Rogers banner from 1983 until retirement in 2004 this model shows assignment to the USS Nimitz. The model was temporarily displayed for 3 months on my wall, otherwise has been kept in the box.
Model was not damaged but has two cracks now, one on the canopy and the other by the right wing root. Please view the pictures carefully.
The other item is a print by aviation artist Rick Hertertitled: Knife Flight : Sharpening the Edge of the Sord. This 20” by 27” print depicts a F14 of VF-84 and a FA18 Hornet
passing close to each other during a mock dog fight. The print has never been framed although it shows some wrinkles around the border that will be covered when framed. The print has been stored flat and in a smoke free house.
