Here\'s a rather uncommon 1930s Silvertone Plaskon radio. I\'ve never seen another one like it. It was manufactured by Gilfillan, and was clearly sold on the west coast. It features pushbuttons and a stationized dial with some of the west coast stations.
The cabinet is complete and the plaskon looks pretty good. I see no chips or large cracks. I see two smaller marks on the top, which I have tried to photograph -- they are very small, and fairly light. One may be dirt. Another could be a very small stress line. Please look carefully at the photos.
It is unfortunately missing the dial pointer. There is no dial cover -- I assume it had one?
The chassis is unrestored, and will need to be repaired by a qualified technician if the radio is to be used. It looks complete, but somewhat dusty and dirty.
The radio will be carefully packed in a sturdy box with bubble wrap and peanuts.
