Consistent with being manufactured at the end of 1948 for early 1949. Everything seems great, it looks as if this has been serviced within the last few years, given the very newish rubber feet, as well as the nice clean oiled, black, roller cylinder, all the rotations of the cylinder click nicely, I just purchased this on September 6 and haven’t had a chance to clean it up and thoroughly overtest it, but I was able to confirm that the ribbon was good enough to print out all lowercase and uppercase keys of everything well
