Ultimate Vintage 1979–1984 Marvel Comics Captain America & Falcon Complete Collection Lot
Up for sale is an absolute holy grail lot for vintage comic and action figure collectors: a museum-quality, investment-grade collection featuring 100% complete 1984 Mattel Secret Wars figures, a spectacular high-grade vehicle, and a rare 1979 Gordy keychain. Finding all of these pieces together in high-grade C-9 condition with zero broken parts is an incredibly rare opportunity.
1. 1984 MATTEL SECRET WARS CAPTAIN AMERICA & TURBO CYCLE VEHICLE SET (100% COMPLETE)
• The Turbo Cycle Vehicle: This is a stunning centerpiece. Featuring a bold, retro-futuristic molded blue-and-white plastic chassis with vibrant red engine block detailing, this vehicle looks fresh off the 1984 factory line. The undercarriage is exceptionally bright white with absolutely NO UV yellowing or browning.
• Canopies & Plastics: Both of the notoriously fragile translucent blue plastics—the main cockpit driver canopy and the geometric rear wing shield—are present, beautifully clear, completely free of stress cracks, and have perfectly intact hinge tabs.
• Factory Decals & Graphics: The original decals are in magnificent shape. The iconic \"TURBO\" lightning side graphics, center instrument console stickers, and nose cone Captain America star insignias are razor-sharp, perfectly flat, and show zero edge peeling.
• Captain America 4.5\" Figure: Immaculate C-9 condition with tight joints and sharp \"Hong Kong\" lower-back stamping. Features exceptional paint preservation with a bright white chest star and midsection, showing virtually none of the typical vintage paint rub.
• Vehicle Accessories: Includes two original red secret shield housings and two loose vintage double-sided lenticular message discs.
2. 1984 MATTEL SECRET WARS FALCON ACTION FIGURE (100% COMPLETE)
• Falcon 4.5\" Figure: Beautiful paint with an untouched white mask and sharp chest feather graphics. Joints are crisp and hold poses perfectly.
• Original Snapping Back Wings: The orange wings are fully intact. The delicate central mounting prong framework is free of cracks, splits, or repairs, snapping firmly to Falcon\'s back.
• Authentic Redwing Companion: The solid brown vinyl Redwing bird perch is 100% original Mattel factory product (NOT a modern reproduction). The forearm grip loop is unbroken and structurally sound.
• Secret Message Shield & Insert: Includes the rare red circular shield housing and the original double-sided shifting lenticular insert disc, both in magnificent shape.
3. BONUS: VINTAGE 1979 GORDY INTERNATIONAL CAPTAIN AMERICA KEYCHAIN
• Authentic Bronze-Age Survivor: Features gorgeous raised comic-art detailing of Cap charging forward with his shield.
• Legible Back Stamp: The reverse side features crisp, raised text reading: “©1979 MARVEL COMICS GROUP, a division of Cadence Industries Corporation. All rights reserved. MADE IN HONG KONG.”
• Condition: Bright molded enamel front colors, zero stretching on the flexible vinyl mounting loop, and original metal link chain/ring firmly attached.
