Historic U.S. Marine Corps & Navy Correspondence Archive
1956 – 1966 • 77 Total Pieces
Includes Camp Lejeune Globe Newspaper + Selective Service Card
This incredible lot came from one estate and appears to be the preserved military correspondence archive of Pvt./PFC Kenneth N. Meehan – U.S. Marine Corps. The letters document his training, family communication, and service at Camp Lejeune, Parris Island, Fleet Post Office New York, and aboard the USS LEYTE (CVS-32). A rare first-hand view of Marine life during the Cold War era leading into early Vietnam involvement.
