US M1874 Haversack with "US" Stencil:

These are new reproductions of US issue haversacks, Model of 1874.

This haversack was adopted by the Infantry Board in 1874, replacing the model of 1872.  It is designed to attach to 1874 leather braces, or it can be worn with a web sling that is permanently attached to the haversack body.
