Hand-painted coconut mug from Trader Vic’s Las Vegas Grand Opening in 2007.Trader Vic’s - Las Vegas was an unfortunate 2-year experiment in 2007-2009. I only visited a few times, and it was not what most of us would consider “traditional tiki”. What they got very right, though, was the invitation to their grand opening celebration!A hand-embellished coconut mug, complete with a shipping crate, party details, and a copy of the zombie recipe.
