A vintage Tiffany & Co. round covered trinket box from the retired Tiffany Tulips collection, designed by and made exclusively for Tiffany in England, and presented in its original Tiffany blue box. The box is in soft off-white glaze with a closely fitted lid edged in a fine green band. Botanical tulips in red and white, yellow and red, and blue and white drift across the lid and around the sides, drawn in the tradition of Dutch golden age flower illustration. Tiffany & Co. was founded in New York in 1837, and this English-made pattern is one of the most charming of its retired home collections.
The base carries the full backstamp: "Tiffany Tulips, designed by and made exclusively for Tiffany & Co., Made in England." The box measures approximately [diameter] across and [height] tall with the lid on. It is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing, and bright, intact decoration. As a vintage piece, it may show light signs of age consistent with its history. The matching Tiffany Tulips vase is also available separately in our shop.
