The LSD Landing Ship Dock by Eugene E. Bracken (Commander, U.S. Navy), 1965
This Book documents with photos the LSD fleet LSD-1 through LSD-36 (up to 1965). The mission of these ships is to provide a "dock" to support military operations. This "dock" may be used for landing of vehicles, repair of vehicles, delivery of cargo, etc.
This Booklet is in Very Good condition. The cover is in good condition with a short tear on the front but is quite dirty with what appears to be gease staining (see photos). Inside however the Book is much nicer. It is very clean with slight browning at the page edges (see photos) and the odor of cigarette smoke.Not Perfect but Not Bad.
