Vintage The Keystone Dairy Co. milk bottle set from New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
This is a great matched set of three clear embossed milk bottles in three different sizes:
- Half Pint
- One Pint
- One Quart
All three feature the same attractive keystone-shaped “THE KEYSTONE DAIRY CO.” embossed logo on the front, with the capacity and REGISTERED embossed on the reverse.
The two smaller bottles also have an interesting “29” inside a keystone-shaped mark on the base along with additional molded markings. These markings can be seen in the photos. The 29 was assigned to the Standard Milk Bottle Manufacturing Co.
The Keystone Dairy Co. was a historic New Kensington-area dairy. These are nice early examples of returnable embossed dairy bottles and display especially well together as a graduated three-size set.
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. Bottles show normal age/use including light surface wear, scratching, haze/residue or other minor imperfections consistent with old returnable milk bottles. No obvious major chips or cracks noted. Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.

A nice Western Pennsylvania dairy collectible, particularly for collectors of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania milk bottles and dairy advertising. By 1948, an advertisement gives the dairy\'s phone number as New Kensington 666, advertises pasteurized milk and other dairy products, and says its dairy store was at 329 Sixth Avenue, New Kensington.
