This is a spectacular and rare cel from The Superfriends, a hand-painted original of Batman that was used in the actual production animation of the Superfriends cartoon!
What makes this cel so rare is the sheer size of Batman on the frame - his head is almost 10 inches tall at his tallest, and almost 9 inches wide at his widest - this is literally the largest Superfriends character I\'ve ever seen in 30+ years of dealing in animation cels! The cel is only 10x11, so Batman takes up the majority of the entire cel!! Usually Superfriends characters are TINY on the cel, making this a true one-of-a-kind piece of animation history!
The backgrounds(s) are merely copied reproductions for display purposes - I\'ve included two so the cel could be displayed with one or both (for a more panoramic look) - your choice!
NOTE - this cel looks amazing displayed, but there are signs of wear when scrutinized - as shown in detailed photos, there are speckled sections of paint loss here and there, as well as a crack in the upper right portion of the cel. These make no difference from a distance, but are carefully detailed in photos for full disclosure of condition.
Cel will ship via UPS in multiple layers of protection (rigid mailer within a box), will be fully insured for the total sale price of the cel, and a tracking number will be sent to you within 24 hours of sale!
