This is a stunning bronze sculpture of a young ballet dancer. The depth and warmth of the patina create a sense of calmness and gracefulness that is captivating to the eye. The dancer stands elegantly on her tiptoes, with arms extended to her side, displaying her beautifully proportioned body, accentuated by the flowing ballet dress that creases with gravity and fluid movement. The skirt's width adds dimension to the dancer, while her ballet slippers criss-cross around her ankles and tie. Her hair is neatly tied back into proper buns, and her delicate features, including full lips, a cute small nose, and wide innocent eyes, are facing slightly to the right.
The sculpture was created using the "Lost Wax Method" and finished with a brown patina. Mounted on a classic black marble base, it exudes elegance and timeless beauty. This sculpture is entirely handmade and 100% bronze, signed by the artist Collet. It is a stunning work of art that captures the essence of ballet and is sure to bring joy and beauty to any home or space.
