vintage Stratton Convertible compact features a scalloped fan shape, engine-turned reeded brass back with the Stratton compact-in-hand cartouche, and an enameled lid featuring a floral urn motif in coral orange, black, and gold. Made in England, this convertible model accommodates both solid makeup pans and loose powder, and includes its original pink-rimmed mesh sifter screen and factory paper instruction disc.
Condition: Pre-owned and used. The interior well contains visible powder dust residue and faint spotting beneath and around the sifter. The mesh sifter shows aging, glue discoloration, and faint powder traces along the pink fabric rim. The brass casing exhibits light surface wear, micro-scratches, and minor patina around the hinge and push-clasp. The top enamel design is intact and clean without noticeable chips or cracks. The mirror is clear and intact, and the latch snaps securely shut. Please see photos for full cosmetic condition.
