Very Nice, very Large, wide, thin, well made and flaked Stanfield Knife with good percussion flaking. Measuring 6 3/16”x 2 1/8”. Early Archaic Period dating 10000-8900 Years BP. Made from a light gray chert, likely either Mill Creek or Burlington Chert. Good mineral deposits, sand polish and heavy patina. 2 COA’s including authenticators Carlos Black and Jerry Dickey.
