Set of six antique Continental pewter coasters with a crest on the topsides consisting of a castle and 3 Fleur di Lis inside of a shield. Each coaster is 4 1/2" in diameter and they are of varying thickness and weights. Handmade. Two of the coasters have two of the same touchmarks on the back which looks like a flower over a Fleur di LIs. The other four have that same touchmark plus a second mark that features a rudimentary lion inside of a circle and over that the initials OM. Pewter is not my forte and I have no clue who the maker was. Acquired in Rome, Italy in 2013. They have not been polished or cleaned.Total weight is 2 pounds, 3 ounces. The lightest one is just over 4 ounces and the heaviest one is 6.8 ounces. There is some discoloration on some of the coasters, the castle crest on the tops is worn down on a few of the coasters.
