A vintage Salins Studio Art Deco Cobalt Blue Tea or Coffee Pot by Pierre Casenove. Condition is in GREAT shape, with the exception of a small chip on the lid. I I’m heartbroken. This happened while I was setting it up to take pictures. Many of these tea pots are often sold without their lids. I am listing it below market price of ones with no lids included.
Made in Salins-les-Bains, France.

Salins Studio France refers to the modern 20th-century output of the historic Salins-les-Bains earthenware factory. Established in 1857 it specialized in bold, postmodern Memphis and Art Deco designs during the 1980s.
The studio became highly regarded for its collaboration with designer Pierre Casenove. These pieces are known for their architectural, sculptural shapes, including art deco revival pyramid-style teapots and bold, monochromatic glazes.
Many Salins Studio pieces from the late 20th century mimic \"skyscraper\" silhouettes and geometric forms typical of the Art Deco era.
This teapot was used as a display piece mainly. Appeared to have never been used. Would make a good gift to the right person. Could also be sought after by a collector as well.
