set of 21 issues of the New York
Times: September 12th to 25th and 29th
and October 5th to 9th. There are two
different editions (Early and Late) of the Sunday, Sept. 16th issue with
different headlines included.
A set like this — spanning the
full two weeks after the attack, plus some early October world developments —
is exceedingly rare, especially in uncirculated condition. They are as pristine as the day each appeared
on the newsstand.
All Monday to Saturday editions
are complete. All Sunday editions
include all the main sections (on average 8) and the Times Magazine, but not
some of the non-news sections.
All issues are in excellent
condition, and none have ever been read or even unfolded. Please read the
descriptions below for exact details. No
fading. Some slight yellowing — not from
light, but from the acid content in the 25-year-old newsprint. Each issue is in
its own archival, acid-free plastic bag.
Except as described here, no
labels or markings and all sections are present, complete and undamaged. The number of sections varied day by day,
from 4 to 8, except for Sunday editions which had more.tab-stops:list .25in">·

Sunday Sept. 16th has
2 editions (as mentioned earlier), with different headlines and text. Both copies have all the main sections (6 in
each copy), but not some of the non-news sections. There is one copy of the Times Magazine with
its iconic cover illustration. The Late
Edition has some residue from where a delivery label was carefully removed way
back when (as shown in the photo).

unfolded. The photos are of the exact copies
