This thing was one of those pipes I received in the mail and thought, "Did I really buy this?" You can barely make out the oval Savinelli stamp logo and barely see the top of their shield and the numbers #121. It had about an 1/8" lava around the rim and I don't believe it had ever been reamed. Now I know why he bought a pot bowl! Lol Anyway, I sanded it thru the grits and redyed it. Then put a hard wax finish on it. The stem was soaked in Lbepen solution then sanded thru the grits, then buffed with green compound, then waxed with carnuba. I applied a bowl coating as well. It looks a lot better than when I first saw it, but it won't win any prizes! I'm donating 10% of this pipe sale to the American National Red Cross ❌️! Oh, I forgot to mention that there's a "pit" on the left, bottom side of the bowl. You can see it in the bottom left corner on one of the first few pics. Thank you!
