About the Artist:
Janusz Skowron is a prominent Polish-born artist who emigrated to the United States, becoming a cornerstone of the New York metropolitan area\'s Polish-American art scene. He is a co-founder and long-time member of the \"Emotionalists\" art group (founded in 1994 by Lubomir Tomaszewski). His works have been exhibited extensively across Europe and the United States and reside in numerous private and institutional collections.Because the vast majority of Skowron\'s documented market consists of works on paper, this tactile, hand-carved wood relief is a uniquely scarce find—perfect for collectors of modern European art, Polish cultural heritage pieces, or high-end expressionist folk sculpture.
