Rare occurrence, exceptional Calcite crystals with Marcasite inclusions and striking iridescent phantoms from the Linwood Mine, Buffalo, Scott County, Iowa.

The Calcite exhibits an exceptionally glassy, mirror-like luster, with beautifully defined Marcasite crystals captured within the interior of the crystals. Iridescent phantom layers add an additional dimension of color and depth, creating a remarkable combination of internal features rarely encountered in specimens from this locality.
