From the American Expeditionary Force AEF, that was in Bordeaux, France. Likely a ladies or men's pinky ring, as it is small & a size 9. I do believe it was made from airplane aluminum. Over 100 years old & in very good condition, as shown. The 1918 WWI Trench Ring is an original piece of militaria, dating back to World War I.
